A couple days ago I made a face mask and put chocolate in it! Cocoa powder is known for adding a glow to your skin making you look positively radiant. So without adding calories by eating chocolate, I decided to indulge in my cravings and tried out the face mask for myself.
First I added 2oz of cocoa powder to a bowl, then I added 2oz illite clay, 1oz of yogurt powder, and 1oz of oatmeal colloidal. I stirred this mixture together until it was well blended. This mixture does make 24 face masks.
To make a face mask for myself, I took 1 Tbsp of the mixture and added almond oil a little at a time until I got a paste. (You can also use milk, honey, or water in your mixture.)
I then spread the mixture onto my face using my foundation brush and waited 15 minutes for it to harden. After I could no longer stretch my face, I took a face wipe and cleaned the mask off.
I'm not gonna lie, my face felt so soft, like a babies bottom. No joke.
The illite clay in this mask is beneficial in removing impurities and tightening the pores, toning the skin, exfoliating dead skin cells and reducing inflammation in acne.
The yogurt powder smoothes and hydrates your skin. And the oatmeal colloidal exfoliates and cleans your skin.
